It appears to be a conflict between some versions of IE (and/or Windows updates for it) and Resource The Task Manager/Applications tab says the Resource Monitor is runningĪnd allows me to shut it down, apparently successfully.Īfter several Google searches I finally hit on the correct keywords and found **many** other links to a similar problem over at least the last two years. I can "start" the Resource Monitor from Task Manager/Performance tab in Windows 7 SP1, but its window never forms completely, and no information is available from it. Not sure this is the correct section for this question.
