Though that brings up another potential flaw with both these ideas, Namely both would make it extremely inexpensive to get a fragile throw away CV for resource runs that would elimanate a lot of the risks involved for players in mp and sp.
It would almost be better for your purposes to ask for concrete to be usable for ship building considering it's already upgradable and has the full selection of shapes while being cheap and easy to get hold of. That means you'll be able to use any blocks you reclaim in the finished piece.Īlso if the blocks are kept with the basic shapes they have at the moment then they would be completely useless for anything other than the most basic laying out of the builds shape since you wouldn't really be able to get a decent feel for the lines and contours of the finished piece with the truss blocks as they are at the moment. I tend to use them for the decorative purpose on bases and on CV's but if there hp was lowered too much they'd blow up far to quickly and easily and have to be replaced instead of repaired far to often.Īs for the build cost, if your roughing out your design then your going to finish it at some point in the appropriate blocks.
Well I don't coat my builds in truss blocks and no I don't use them for armour.
